Pick one package. All three install the same app.

AppImage (any distribution)

chmod +x ~/Downloads/Pramvex_x.y.z_amd64.AppImage
~/Downloads/Pramvex_x.y.z_amd64.AppImage

.deb (Ubuntu, Debian and derivatives)

sudo apt install ./Pramvex_x.y.z_amd64.deb

.rpm (Fedora, RHEL and derivatives)

sudo dnf install ./Pramvex-x.y.z-1.x86_64.rpm
  1. Open Pramvex from your applications menu (or run the AppImage directly).
  2. Add a folder of documents. Search works immediately; AI answers are optional, from Settings › Models.

Requires 64-bit Linux with WebKitGTK 4.1: Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 38+ or equivalent. The .deb and .rpm pull in WebKitGTK automatically; for the AppImage, install it from your distribution if it is missing.

Verify your download

Compare the file’s SHA-256 with the one published on this page. They must match exactly.

In a terminal, run the command for the package you downloaded:

sha256sum ~/Downloads/Pramvex_x.y.z_amd64.AppImage
sha256sum ~/Downloads/Pramvex_x.y.z_amd64.deb
sha256sum ~/Downloads/Pramvex-x.y.z-1.x86_64.rpm

Linux packages are not code-signed, so the published SHA-256 is how you confirm the file is the one we built. Only install a package whose checksum matches exactly.

A matching checksum shows the file wasn’t changed. Download only from this site or the releases page linked from it.
